Q:  What does the LPG Charity Fund do?

  A:  The LPG Charity Fund's principal objective is to assist members of the LPG and Gas Processing industry during a time of catastrophic medical expenses and/or financial need such as temporary living expenditures or funeral expenses.

  Q:  What are the LPG Charity Fund's accomplishments?

  A:  Approximately $631,000 awarded to help meet extraordinary medical expenses, over $700,000 raised to assist others and more than 40 individuals assisted.

  Q:  How is the LPG Fund organized?

  A:  The LPG Charity Fund has been successful due to the hard work of our 26 dedicated board member representing 20 companies in the LPG industry, all of whom volunteer their personal time and effort. The LPG Charity Fund is administered with no paid staff. Administrative expenses are held to a minimum due to the efforts of our Board of Trustees. Well over 95% of the funds we collect directly help those in need.

  Q:  How does the LPG Charity Fund raise money?

  A:  The LPG Charity Fund raises money in two primary ways: Annual fundraising events such as the Texas Hold'em Tournament, golf and bowling tournaments that contribute approximately $75,000 per year. Also, through individual and corporate contributions.

  Q:  How can you help?

  A:  You can help by attending and sponsoring LPG Charity Fund events throughout the year. Also, the Fund has initiated a new revenue generating source with the help of Randall's "Good Neighbor" and Kroger's "Sharecard" programs. If you have a Randall's card, they will donate a portion of your purchases to the LPG Charity Fund. All you have to do is stop by the Randall's customer service counter and have the Funds' number 9550 "linked" to your card. The Kroger program requires that you obtain a card that is specifically for the LPG Charity Fund. The Fund has an ample supply and we will be happy to send one at your request.
